Sea Anemone
Back Ground Information
Can range in color
Can go from a quarter of an inch in size to 6 feet Have a special relationship with clownfish where because clownfish are immune from their sting they live in the anemone and the anemone feeds off its waste Nervous system
The nervous system of a sea anemone is not very complex at all and probably one of the most effective for any cnidarian. It has no central nervous system and its branches each think for themselves. The nerves give them the ability to feel something which is necessary because when sea anemone gets touched they shoot out a quick shock which instantly kills the animal and then they snatch it up and eat it. With out their sense of feeling sea anemones would not be able to feel their food and eat it.
