The Flat Worm
Back Ground Information
Nervous System
Their main Ganglia group is in the back of the worm and can be connected to other ganglia by anywhere from two to ten nerve cords that exist in the body. The ganglia connect out and allow it to feel and detect light from the front of both nerve cords. It also has transverse nerve cords that allow it to feel on the top part of its body which was an advantage that animals like the jellyfish didn't have.
